A single origin black or Ceylon tea from Sri Lanka. This tea is sustainably made by hand and is Fair Trade, UTZ, Rainforest Alliance, UKAS, and SGS certified. It is one of the most popular teas in Iraq, Syria and Iran – which, due to conflict, has caused turmoil for tea producers and the farm workers who rely on a steady income to feed their families. When you buy this tea from us, you not only get to enjoy its great flavor, but you’ll know your purchase helps in the fight to end human rights abuses in Sri Lanka.
When you purchase this product, we donate 50% of the profit directly to Amnesty International to help improve working conditions for the men and women who pick tea leaves in Sri Lanka. Amnesty International works across the globe to help stop human rights abuses.
Eco-Packaging: We offer two packaging options for purchasing this tea. If you select “Tin of Tea” you will receive an airtight metal tin with your tea. When you run out, or if you prefer to use your own tin, just reorder the “Refill” option. Both packages contain 400 grams of cut whole tea leaves.
